Fallmond
The band
Fallmond was a project of the
accordeonist Christoph Meier and of Silvano. The two were working outside
their bands (Christoph plays with Dirty Black Fish, Silvano with Selber)
on mostly melancholic songs. While Christoph was writing the music Silvano
did the lyrics. Together they were finally looking for musicians to record
the CD in a more Rock'n'Roll kinda style. The found Alexandra Iten on
cello, Le Marquis de Garage (the one and only legend of Rock'n'Roll in
Zug) strummed his guitar and Bruno Bütler kicked the drums. And Deezl was
not only producing and recording the CD "we nefer wonderful", he also
helped out on guitar and bass as he's not only a gifted producer but also
a brilliant musician and songwriter (please write us if you want further
informations about his masterpiece "the Mole").
The sound
Fallmond plays ist
music somewhere between the melancholy of chansons and the power of punk
drifting from straight rock to chanson, musette, ballads with cello to
tangos. And in a way Tom Waits must have been in the
studio.
