Smegma

The band
This band from Zug needed a little time to find ist most effective team. In the beginning Roger was also playing with Smegma before the lineup went through some changes coming from dark atmospheres and industrial to classical rock and the formation: Christian Grau (guitar), Christian Hirt (bass), Thomas Säuberli (drums) and ricke Mühlefluh (voice). Unforgettable their (few but) moving shows and unforgettable the power they had while slapping their sound on our ears.

The sound
Smegma was extremely effective to make the most songs possible out of very little musical skills. So they mixed their punkrock with metal and Monty Phyton ("missis Smegma would you stand up please?"). The black humor was bitter as gall, Lemmy was waving hello and we'd claim: this band was better than some of todays swedish punkrockers - but also "ways less professional" (ricke). On this CD you'll find Smegmas whole essentials. R.I.P.
